On Behalf of Gomer

In This Class:

This class stays with Gomer’s story long enough for her humanity to come back into focus. We move through Hosea slowly, naming power, coercion, survival, and the ways women’s lives have been narrated by men who held spiritual authority. Gomer emerges as a priestess, a woman with agency and endurance, carrying dignity that was never hers to lose. Sitting with her story opens a wider conversation about how harm has been sanctified, how misogyny learned a holy voice, and how reclamation begins when names are spoken with care again.
