Inner Territory Journey: The Moment You Asked

In This Journey:

Following the first of our Four Maplines Journeys, this inner path takes us to the banks of an ancient river and to an archetypal meeting with a central guide. Here we hold the intricacies of our manifestation and the origins of our limiting beliefs.

Before you take this Journey, work honestly and slowly through the following journaling prompts. The active sifting and truth-telling of journaling will prepare you for the coming Inner Territory Journey.

Begin Here:

Journal first through sensation, a primary tenet of Inner Territory work:

  • How will receiving your desire, this manifestation, feel?

  • What part of you doesn’t feel worthy of your manifestation?

  • Where in your body do you feel that unworthiness? (It’s okay if this isn’t immediately obvious. Come back to it when you can identify it)

  • What limiting belief might have been created by what you witnessed, experienced, and absorbed?

  • How has that unworthiness given up sacred inner space for a limiting belief? What is the limiting belief that has resulted from it?

Journal through agitation, a necessary part of transformation:

  • What is your largest desire right now?

  • Where are you being offered an inquiry? The Universe will cyclically hold up a mirror to help us assess the evidence of either our healing or of more work to be done around a wound or limiting belief. These mirrors of inquiry are not a tool of shame or judgment, but an honest way to tell ourselves the truth of where we are in process. This can look like repeating a pattern in relationships, finding ourselves in activating, familiar financial circumstances, or anything else that brings you back to an old situation.

  • What are the last 4 mirrors you’ve faced?

  • What elements of your life feel stuck in old repeating patterns?

  • When you look at the above answers, what are the biggest repeating threads you find?

Journal through self facing, an intentional truth-speaking and soothing of any included part of Self:

  • Now that you are here, name it. What is the limiting belief?

  • What belief is your soul working from in order for these mirrors and activations to keep showing up?

  • What is your block? What continues to keep you from fully integrating your manifestation/desire?

  • When you look back at your childhood, when was the first time you remember feeling this way?

Note: When I speak of prayer in this Inner Territory Journey, I am talking about the intentional use of our soul’s energy: where we focus it, how we use it, and what we name within it.
